Phenyl silicone oil is the product of partial methyl substitution of phenyl in methyl silicone oil. This structural feature gives it unique high and low temperature resistance.


Low temperature resistance: Silicone oil with low phenyl content (phenyl mole fraction of 5%~10%) is particularly suitable for occasions with high cold resistance requirements. This type of silicone oil still has fluidity at -70℃, which is difficult for other oils to achieve. In particular, when the phenyl mole fraction reaches 50%, silicone oil with stabilizer added can even be used for hundreds of hours in a high temperature environment of 300~350℃.
