As a high-performance modified silicone material, the sealing performance and industrial application of fluorosilicone oil are mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1. Sealing performance characteristics
Temperature resistance: It can work stably in a wide temperature range of -60℃ to 200℃, and maintain sealing integrity in extreme environments.
Media resistance:
Resistant to fuel oil, mineral oil and polar/non-polar solvents, suitable for fuel system sealing;
Resistant to acid, alkali and chemical corrosion, ensuring long-term sealing in chemical environments.
Low surface tension: The surface tension is as low as 20-25 mN/m, which significantly reduces the friction coefficient and improves the dynamic sealing lubricity.
Thermal stability and oxidation resistance: The ignition point is higher than 300℃, and the oxidation stability is excellent at high temperature, reducing the risk of sealing failure.
2. Industrial Application Fields
(I) Aerospace
Fuel system seals: used for rocket propellant tanks, missile warheads, and fuel pipeline seals, resistant to fuel erosion and extreme mechanical conditions;
Engine parts: turbine seals, piston ring seals, maintaining sealing in high temperature and high pressure oil environments;
Environmental seals: protection against ultraviolet rays and ozone, used for aircraft fuselage protection and fuel tank pressure regulating pipeline diaphragms.
(II) Automotive industry
Sealing coatings: methyl fluorosilicone oil enhances the antifouling, flexibility and adhesion of the coating, and is used for sealing the vibration area of the engine;
Fuel system: manufacturing oil-resistant hoses, oil pressure system seals and fuel tank seals.
(III) Machinery and energy
Lubrication seals: as a corrosion-resistant grease base oil, improve the boundary lubricity of steel components, and are used in high-speed equipment (such as laser printers);
Chemical equipment: pump valve seals, reactor diaphragms, resistant to strong corrosive media (such as inorganic acids and organic matter);
Vacuum system: solvent-resistant sealing lubricant for chemical reaction gas vacuum pumps.

Electronic and electrical appliances: Electrical insulation sealing products to protect components from high temperature/chemical environment;
