_The shortlist for the final of the second Alibaba global mathematics competition was announced today. More than 50000 competitors from 71 countries and regions signed up for the competition, and only 516 of them finally reached the final, with a promotion rate of only 1%.
There are 27 finalists in our university. The total number of finalists is second only to Peking University, ranking second in the world. 24 of them are from the Department of mathematics. Congratulations on your excellent results, and I also wish you all another success in the finals!
