After the host Jiang Yifei briefly introduced the background of General Secretary Xi's reply to the letter, Wang Yi from the humanities Party group of geography and oceanography college first exchanged thoughts. First of all, sun Yida, a member of the school of geography and oceanography, introduced the volunteer deeds of "NJU self organized Hubei aid group", which made everyone feel the warmth of "one party has difficulties, and the other party supports from all sides"; while the academic tutor group of "war epidemic pioneer" let us see the young Party members' bravery to take responsibility and actively help; Tan Chang told the stories recorded by students in Hubei and Zhejiang in words and camera“ Yu Boyang shared his own experience of voluntary participation in epidemic prevention and control. Miao Shiqi, Gu Yifan, Wan Shenghua and Zhang Yongkang from the GIS Party group of the Institute of geography and oceanography reported the role of Geography in epidemic prevention and anti epidemic through different cases. Su ye, from the College of remote sensing, introduced the application of remote sensing technology during the epidemic. No matter the orderly resumption of work in China from the perspective of lights, the high-quality remote sensing witnessed the speed of China's construction, or the quantitative remote sensing monitoring of the epidemic area, everyone can marvel at the wide application of remote sensing. Through exchanges, we have become more aware of the important role of professional knowledge for the country and society, and have firmly determined to use professional knowledge to solve practical problems.

Share and summary of teachers and Party members
Mr. Xiao pengfeng, from the school of geography and oceanography, first expressed his respect for the heroic city of Wuhan, appealed to Party members and comrades to have a clear understanding of the epidemic situation, pointed out that the scale of the epidemic was far larger than that of SARS, the global economy was at risk of recession, China was still at risk of epidemic input, and appealed to young Party members to treat hot events correctly and strengthen their ability of information discrimination. Zhang Wen, a teacher from the school of remote sensing, pointed out the advantages of Community Grid Management and the possibility of combining with GIS. He stressed that the epidemic is an important process to promote the rapid growth of the post-90s and post-00s. He hoped that young people could enrich themselves through learning, correctly identify online information and pay attention to self-protection during the epidemic. Mr. Li Yan from the school of geography and Oceanography and Mr. Xie Yun from the school of remote sensing both expressed their willingness to strengthen exchange and learning, and hoped to learn from each other's experience in branch construction for common development.

This online joint theme party day activity lasted for two and a half hours. In this special period, although the "house" family could not get together, the online party day activity gave us different reunion and different harvest. This activity established a bridge for extensive communication between the two branches. Both members of the two branches were more aware of the epidemic situation, more recognized the professional value, and more determined to serve the country.
