Volunteer service
Xu Yang of Peking University lives in Yichang, Hubei Province. From the closure of Wuhan on January 23 to the no high risk urban area of Hubei on March 24, Xu Yang felt the power of the country and the warmth of human feelings.
During the volunteer service period, her main work is to log in the information of the entry and exit personnel, fill in the cross County application, purchase and distribute the necessities of life, persuade the unlicensed personnel to prohibit entry and exit, and teach the elderly residents to shop online. Although the weather is cold, she feels the care and warmth of all walks of life, and sticking to it is anti epidemic. "If you are well, it is spring," she said. Zhang Xu, from Nanjing University, first introduced the local community characteristic epidemic prevention work, including "Party member propaganda, three and a half sentences, four guarantees and one policy, solving the problem of unsalable vegetables in farms", etc.
He expressed sympathy to the needy people, delivered materials to the card point, arranged household information, registered in the community service hall, measured body temperature, killed records, household information, material consumption and other account records, and left a deep impression on his heart with every bit of voluntary service. Finally, he lamented that this voluntary service benefited him a lot, deeply realized the superiority of the socialist system, and also made himself firm in the work of selecting and transferring students to serve the grass-roots level. Chen Hanshi of Wuhan University, who lives in Jianghan District, is the place with the most serious epidemic. During the outbreak of influenza, there are new patients in the community every day, and the situation is not optimistic every day.
He did not hesitate to join the volunteer service, including helping the community to carry the materials from the supermarket, organizing and arranging the killing work in the community, repacking and distributing the peace food, counting the daily demand, regularly organizing group buying, on-site checking information entry and promoting the health code and so on. Hard as it was, he was full of energy when he thought of his country and people. The environmental protection community was reported positively by the news, and the people of the whole country witnessed everyone's efforts. In winter vacation, it's incumbent on me to volunteer when I come back from the epidemic situation. Mei Zhifan, the school of chemistry of University of science and technology of China, has also volunteered.
He is mainly responsible for three aspects of work, namely, on duty at the main intersection of the village, registration and entry of the health certificate of the visiting villagers, and information entry system of the village committee. The problems and setbacks in his work made him realize that it was not easy for him to serve at the grass-roots level. At the same time, he also expressed his heartfelt thanks to his countrymen who had paid for the epidemic.
Scientific research learning
Qiu Xiaoyu, a 2017 graduate student of Huazhong University of science and technology, described in detail her own home-based research and learning method from the anxiety, uneasiness and loss in the early stage to the initiative, initiative and planning in the later stage. Liu Junli, a doctoral student at Tsinghua University, shared her experience on how to conduct research effectively at home. Graduation thesis, pre defense, thesis revision, thesis duplicate check, thesis submission for review are her main tasks at home in the early stage. In the later stage, I mainly sorted out and summarized the previous work and wrote in-depth academic papers.
She said she would also use her spare time to study, read and learn English related professional software. With regard to document management, it is a process from scratch, from being to being, and from being refined to using. Liu Junli shared some of her commonly used document management software, including endnote, cnie e-study, readcube, mendeley, and summed up her own habit of classification. For example, the naming of articles is generally: title + magazine + author + time + remarks.
Branch work
Hu Dianwen, a 2017 doctoral student from Jilin University, brings us experience sharing in the work of the Party branch.
As the Secretary of the graduate student Party branch in the North District of materialization, he still kept his duties in mind during the epidemic, always played a leading role as a party member, and actively performed his own work. In addition to carrying out the "three meetings and one lesson" stipulated by the school, he also paid party fees and donations through online platforms and other ways.
