Brief introduction to the meeting
Conference title: the 12th International Conference on superconducting materials and mechanisms
Time: August 19, 2018 Venue: Beijing organizer: State Key Laboratory of superconductivity, Institute of physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences
The 12th International Conference on materials and mechanisms of superconductivity and high temperature superconductors (m2s-2018) was held in Beijing International Conference Center from August 19 to 24, 2018 for 6 days. The president of the conference is Zhou Xingjiang, director of the State Key Laboratory of superconductivity, Institute of physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Zhao Zhongxian, director of the academic committee.
The International Conference on superconductive materials and mechanisms began in 1988. It was initiated and held because Johannes Georg bednorz and Karl Alexander m ü ller, the Nobel Laureates in physics, discovered copper oxide superconductors. Now every three years, it is the largest and most influential academic event in the field of international superconductivity research. The holding of this conference is beneficial for the international superconductor research colleagues to show their latest achievements, exchange with each other and promote cooperation.
