You know, there were baby bottles in prehistoric times

Baby bottles are very familiar baby products. Modern milk bottles are generally made of glass, plastic, silica gel, etc., and they are also equipped with soft silica gel or latex nipples. However, in the prehistoric era when productivity was backward, did humans have milk bottles at that time? The answer is yes. What about the bottles of prehistoric humans?
A team from the University of Bristol, UK, recently published an archaeology article in the international top academic journal Nature. They identified the lipid residues from animal milk from a small ceramic container with mouth, which was commonly used in ancient European children's tombs. This means that they may have been the bottles that prehistoric humans used to feed babies.
The researchers analyzed lipid residues in containers and identified fatty acids from animal products, including fresh milk. Two of the containers seem to contain milk from ruminants (the common ruminants are deer and cattle), while the other has left mixed milk from non ruminants (possibly pig or human milk). The findings suggest that during weaning, these containers may be used to feed infants with animal milk for nutrition.
