The binding effect between the structuring control agent and silica is stronger than the hydrogen bonding between the silicone rubber polymer chain and silica, thereby inhibiting or weakening the rubber structure. A variety of low-molecular-weight organic compounds or organic silicon compounds containing polar groups can slow down the structure of silicone rubber. Organic silicon compounds or polymers that can be used as structural control agents for silicone rubber are classified into the following four categories: ② alkoxysilane, ③ silazane, ④ boron-containing siloxane. The industrially-used structured control agents are mainly diphenylsilicondiol, dihydrocarbyldialkoxysilane, short-chain alkoxy silicone oil, and short-chain hydroxy silicone oil. Using diphenyl silicone diol as a structural control agent for mixed silicone rubber, the prepared mixed silicone rubber material has excellent storage stability and processing performance, and its vulcanized rubber products have good heat resistance, but the vulcanized rubber is permanently compressed. Deformation performance is slightly inferior. The dihydrocarbyldialkoxysilane used as a structural control agent for the compounded silicone rubber has a close relationship with the type of the hydrocarbyl group, and the methylphenyldimethoxysilane has the best effect. Alkoxy-terminated short-chain dihydrocarbyl siloxane polymers also have a good inhibitory effect on the structuring of compounded silicone rubbers. Commonly used alkoxy-silicone structure control agents are methoxy silicone oils with a viscosity of 5-10 mPas Ethoxy silicone oil, in which methoxy silicone oil is more effective in inhibiting structuring than ethoxy silicone oil; low viscosity silicone oil is relatively more efficient in reducing structuring, but too low viscosity silicone oil is volatile during the silicone rubber mixing process loss.
