Silicone rubber testing standards and testing content

Hits: 613 img

Silicone rubber is colorless, transparent or milky white particles. It is a highly active adsorption material, which is an amorphous substance, insoluble in water and any solvent, non-toxic and tasteless, chemically stable, and does not react with any substances except strong alkali and hydrofluoric acid. Mainly used for gas drying, catalyst, gas absorption, liquid dehydration, catalyst carrier and as gas chromatography analysis reagent, column chromatography packing, thin layer chromatography analysis reagent.

Silicone rubber detection range:
Silicone material, silicone ring, industrial silicone, silicone tube, silicone plug, silicone products, silicone, silicone raw materials, silicone powder, etc.

Silicone rubber testing items:
Performance testing, hardness testing, elasticity testing, chemical testing, component content testing, roughness testing, initial viscosity testing, etc.

Silicone rubber raw material testing standards:
EN ISO 15141-1-1998 Foods. Determination of ochratoxin A in cereal crops and cereal crop products. Part 1: Silica gel cleanup by high performance liquid chromatography

GB 29204-2012 Food Safety Standard Food Additive Silica Gel
DIN 42562-1-1987 Transformers. Silicone moisture absorber transformers with fillers 1.2 to 4.8 kg. Components
DIN 42562-2-1987 Transformers - Silicone moisture absorber transformers with fillers 1.2 to 4.8 kg - Parts
DIN 53538-4-1988 Standard Reference Elastomers; Peroxidized Silica Gel (MVQ); Characterization of Liquid Fuels for MVQ Properties

Silicone rubber raw material formula analysis:
The main component of silicone rubber is silicon dioxide, which is chemically stable and non-flammable. Usually the moisture content is about 3 to 7%. Has a porous structure. It has strong adsorption, and the moisture absorption can reach about 40%.

When the phenyl content is 20~40%, it is called medium phenyl silicone rubber, which has good flame resistance and can self-extinguish once it catches fire. When the phenyl content is 40~50%, it is called high phenyl silicone rubber. It has excellent radiation resistance, and its resistance to γ-ray is 1xI08 roentgen.

Generally, with the increase of the phenyl content, the rigidity of the molecular chain of the silicone rubber gradually increases, and the low temperature resistance of the silicone rubber gradually decreases, but with the increase of the phenyl content, the flame resistance and radiation resistance of the vulcanizate are improved.
