Phenyl raw rubber, with its excellent resistance to saturated vapor pressure, has become a key sealing material in many demanding industrial fields, especially suitable for sealing applications in extreme temperature, high pressure, and radiation environments.

1. Sealing Applications in the Nuclear Industry
Nuclear Reactor Sealing Systems: Phenyl silicone rubber, as the matrix for high-temperature neutron shielding materials, is used in radiation shielding components of nuclear reactor cavities. It can withstand long-term thermal aging environments up to 500°C with a total weight loss of less than 10%. 2. Sealing Applications in Aerospace
Ultra-low Temperature Sealing Materials: Low-phenyl silicone rubber (phenyl content 5-10%) retains its flexibility at -100℃ and has a curing temperature down to -115℃, making it an ideal material for manufacturing cryogenic seals, gaskets, and tubing for aerospace vehicles.

Radiation-Resistant Seals: High-phenyl silicone rubber (phenyl content above 30%) possesses excellent radiation resistance and is used in spacecraft coatings, non-metallic material performance improvement, and high-temperature cable sheaths and seals for nuclear reactors.

3. Sealing Applications in Electronics and Electrical Appliances
High-Voltage Equipment Sealing: Tianmu 701-708 series silicone rubber sealants are designed for extreme conditions, with a temperature resistance up to 300℃ and excellent electrical insulation and anti-aging properties. They effectively solve the problem of arcing in high-voltage transformers, enabling equipment repair within half an hour.

Circuit Board Protection: The low compression set and wide temperature range elasticity (from -100℃ to +70℃) of phenyl silicone rubber make it an ideal material for circuit board protection and cable joint sealing in electronic and electrical equipment.

Blood Refrigeration Seals: Due to the physiological inertness and flexibility of phenyl silicone rubber at ultra-low temperatures (-110℃), it is widely used in the production of blood refrigeration seals and medical tubing.

Medical Equipment Seals: Its non-toxic, odorless, and biocompatible properties make it suitable for manufacturing seals and catheters in medical devices, ensuring the safety of medical procedures and patient comfort.

5. Sealing Applications in the Chemical Industry
Corrosion-Resistant Pipeline Seals: Phenyl silicone rubber is stable to a variety of chemical substances and is used in the manufacture of corrosion-resistant pipe and valve seals, as well as reactor linings.

Special Condition Seals: In chemical production, phenyl silicone rubber can be used to manufacture sealing materials and molded products with special properties such as radiation resistance, high temperature resistance, and ablation resistance.

6. Product Characteristics and Selection Criteria

Phenyl Content Affects Performance: Low phenyl content (5-10%) results in the best low-temperature resistance in raw rubber; medium phenyl content (15-25%) improves damping performance; high phenyl content (above 30%) significantly enhances radiation resistance.

Wide Temperature Range Adaptability: Phenyl silicone rubber maintains stable performance within a temperature range of -100℃ to 250℃, and some high-phenyl products can even operate stably in environments up to 400℃.

Physical Properties: It exhibits low compression set, high consistency, low volatility, odorless properties, and excellent thermal stability.

The saturated vapor pressure resistance of phenyl raw rubber makes it outstanding in sealing applications under extreme conditions, particularly in the nuclear industry, aerospace, and high-end electronic equipment sectors, providing key material support for high-reliability sealing solutions.
