Wang Jinfeng, young teacher of Marx School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, graduated from the Philosophy Department of Nanjing University in 2015, engaged in postdoctoral research in Marx School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2015-2017, visited the East Asia Department of University of Gottingen as a visiting scholar in 2016-2017, and joined the Marx School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 12 2017. The research directions are Confucian philosophy, comparative philosophy and Sinicization of Marxism.
1、 Academic research: "Changming national essence, melting new knowledge"
In response to the question "why do we choose Confucianism, comparative philosophy and Sinicization of Marxism as the research direction", Mr. Wang Jinfeng quoted the tenet of Xueheng School, "to study the academic, to expound the truth, to enrich the quintessence of the country and to melt the new knowledge". As early as in her undergraduate period, she noticed that there were widespread misreading and misinterpretation of traditional philosophy in both academic circles and the public, which made her desire to find out how to correctly understand Chinese traditional philosophy; after entering the stage of great prosperity, she chose Confucianism of pre Qin Dynasty and Neo Confucianism of song and Ming Dynasties as research objects, and her thinking always had such problems: traditional culture How can it be connected with modern thoughts? How to face western philosophy to talk about Chinese tradition? After graduation, with the transformation of her identity and the change of her department, her research direction gradually expanded to the Sinicization of Marxism, and the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture became her focus. She believes that when we discuss Confucian philosophy and traditional culture in the current social context, we must jump out of the mode of "talking to ourselves". We need to rethink the modern interpretation and transformation of traditional culture in the perspective of comparative philosophy, so as to provide theoretical solutions for the construction of the discourse system of philosophy and social science with Chinese characteristics and "cultural self-confidence".
In recent years, she has published more than 10 papers in CSSCI journals such as philosophy trends, modern philosophy, thought and culture, Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University, published 1 work and 2 translations, presided over 3 provincial and ministerial level topics such as the youth project of Shanghai philosophy and social science planning project, general support of China Post Doctoral science foundation, and participated in major scientific research and innovation of Shanghai Jiaotong University Cultivation project, Volkswagen foundation project, etc.
"It's not boring to be an academic. In fact, academic thinking and life wisdom are consistent. But it's not easy to be "unbiased, unresponsive" in life.
