In order to further study and implement the spirit of the 11th Party Congress of Nanjing University, accurately grasp the deployment requirements of the Party Congress, on the afternoon of April 15, Nanjing University Medical College held an online party congress spirit communication meeting, and invited representatives of the Party Congress to convey the spirit of the Party Congress. The guests at the meeting included Mr. Zhang Junfeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee of Nanjing University, vice president, President of the medical college, Mr. Han Xiaodong, Secretary of the Party committee of the medical college, Mr. Shen Sunan, vice president of the medical college, Mr. Wang ani, deputy secretary of the Party committee, and Mr. Wang Xinyue, Secretary of the Party branch at level 14. The meeting was attended by the instructor of undergraduate students, all the undergraduates of grade 18 / 19, the Party branch of undergraduate students of Medical College and the Party branch of grade 14.

Spirit communication of the Party Congress meeting
From the perspective of the college, Secretary Han Xiaodong interpreted the key tasks of "adhering to morality and cultivating new people in the era" proposed in the report of the 11th Party Congress of Nanjing University. She pointed out that teachers are the key to cultivating talents through morality. On the basis of imparting curriculum knowledge, teachers guide students to transform the knowledge and skills they have learned into internal morality and quality, and pay attention to the combination of students' personal development, social development and national development, which is the breakthrough and new starting point of cultivating talents through morality in Colleges and universities. To cultivate new people in the era, we must be student-oriented and all for the sake of students Healthy growth, adhere to the unity of "comprehensive development and full development, individualized teaching and demand training, classroom teaching and practical exercise", and give full play to the potential of each student. The 11th Party Congress of the school pointed out the direction for this. Secretary Han believed that through the cooperation and joint efforts of teachers and students, we will be able to achieve our goals and value pursuit, and become the most lovely person in the new era like the alumni who have come to Wuhan for help.
From the perspective of specialty and teachers, President Shen Sunan introduced the concept of personnel training in medical college, focusing on "six Musts" and "four melts" in "intensive development". The education of medical college is student-oriented, teaching reform is determined, general education is emphasized, international connection is sought, and the spirit of the Party Congress is continuously implemented.
Next, Wang Xinyue shared the experience of participating in the Party Congress from the perspective of student representatives. She lamented that as a student of Nanjing University, we are lucky enough to enjoy better and better teaching resources; we have the opportunity to be at the node of "building the first South University"; we have the responsibility to always be in awe, hold the ruler and take the responsibility. Finally, Wang Xinyue quoted Cui Weiping, an alumnus of Nanjing University, as an end. He hoped that every one of us would have some awareness and make a difference, "I am here, I am Nanjing University", and make the image of Nanjing University brighter through his own efforts.
At last, president Zhang Junfeng introduced the background of the Party Congress in detail in his concluding speech. The 11th Party Congress is an important and timely conference held in the key period of socialism with Chinese characteristics entering a new era, building a powerful country in higher education, starting a new journey, and building the "first South University". President Zhang introduced the tense and orderly preparation process of the Party Congress, and explained the spirit of Secretary Hu's report in a simple way. From the review of achievements in the past five years to the connotation of building the "first South University", he took "three contrasts", that is, the comparison with the speech of the general secretary, the comparison with the standard of building a world-class university, and the comparison with the requirements of strict party governance as the starting point, explained the front of our university Opportunities and challenges. At the same time, president Zhang introduced to the students the "change" and "unchangeable" faced by the current southerners. What changed was the international situation, the upheaval of higher education, the change of international competition, the change of talent education, and the change of the school itself. What remained unchanged was the ideal and belief of serving the people, insisting on serving the governance of the Communist Party of China, and contributing to the socialist modernization. Finally, Mr. Zhang mentioned that the future school will continue to make the first priority of the teachers and the nurturing newcomers. We will continue to build first-class teachers, build the highest discipline, enhance the level of scientific research, deepen international education, improve the efficiency of governance, and strive for the early completion of the "first South University" proposed by general secretary Xi Jinping.
At the end of the meeting, there was an interactive link between teachers and students. Fan Hanqi and Niu Jiahui, grade 18, asked President Zhang and Secretary Han about the confusion in scientific research and personal development of students. President Zhang and Secretary Han encouraged medical students to hone their skills, do well in every step, constantly enhance their abilities, and strive to become outstanding medical scientists.
