In order to fully implement the spirit of the 11th Party Congress of Nanjing University and further give full play to the role of the student Party branch in the construction of the "first South University" and the vanguard and exemplary role of the party members, on the afternoon of April 17, 2020, the "youth focused Party Congress" was held on the first party branch line of the graduate students of Marxism college Focus on the new chapter "- the 11th Party Congress of Nanjing University Spirit special organization life meeting and special online party class. The meeting was presided over by Chen Jiaqi, Secretary of the Party branch, and attended by all members of the first party branch and activists.

Before the meeting, all the party members are divided into four groups. Through the establishment of wechat group, each party member can carry out independent learning and centralized discussion in the group. Around the spirit of this party congress, the party members actively shared their experience, showing a serious and practical learning attitude and a strong and warm atmosphere for discussion.

The meeting is divided into three parts, the first part is "cloud discussion". The party members share their own analysis and discussion experience with reference to the important instruction content of self-study before the meeting; the second part is "cloud hot discussion", in which the party members' representatives make suggestions and suggestions for the development of the school; the last part is cloud party class, in which the Party branch secretary Chen Jiaqi and Wang Xiaonan respectively narrate the contents of the Party Congress The construction of the branch and the excellent party lesson that the party members take on, the whole meeting content is substantial, close to the reality, cause the party members to think deeply.
1. Three reflections and common progress: cloud discussion
First of all, all the party members watched the video of President LV Jian's interview with people.com on building the "first Nantah". The video emphasized that Nantah should further explore the development path of "world-class Nantah style with Chinese characteristics" and provide strong support for the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. To this end, all Party members need to carry out self analysis and self-improvement from three aspects: "their own strength is not strong", "their contributions are not great", "the world does not recognize them". Four groups of speakers asked to share the results of self-examination and group communication.
Starting from the status of "student of Marxism College", Yinxin reflected on his own professional foundation and put forward to further strengthen theoretical cultivation, so as to love, speak and serve the party in the party; Comrade Liu gangyue introspected himself in combination with the experience of interdisciplinary and United Front Committee members, and proposed to increase the reading of professional books and strive to make more contributions in the post Generally participate in public welfare practice; Comrade Li Yin reviews himself ideologically, whether there is a certain inertia of thinking, whether there is a lack of enterprising consciousness, etc., and proposes to strive to achieve a large pattern, long-term vision, and top-notch ability; Comrade Cai Wenhui points out that we should actively strengthen our brain, vision, foot power, and pen power, and carry forward the feelings of the great event that NANDA chews the vegetable root and does.
2. Advice, suggestions and free speech
Then, in the "cloud hot discussion" link, four group members sent representatives to share the constructive opinions of the party members and comrades on the development of the school in the group meeting one by one.
Suggestion 1: campus promotion. Comrade Andy said on behalf of the first group that we should make good use of the new network platform, strengthen the operation of micro-blog and WeChat official account, expand the popularity of Nanjing University, and propose that Dr. Wang Xiaonan should carry out activities such as doctoral lecturers and other groups to create the brand of NANDA.
Recommendation 2: school construction. On the one hand, it is the construction of teachers. Andy pointed out that the development of the school can not be separated from the strong teaching staff. We should increase the introduction of talents and innovate the evaluation mechanism. Cui Xinghong, on behalf of the third group, put forward suggestions on the implementation of the role management of counselors and the improvement of the long-term development mechanism of counselors. On the other hand, it is the construction of learning facilities. We propose to extend the opening time of the library and increase the expectation of 24-hour study room.
Suggestion 3: student training. School is the base of training talents. Comrade Cui Xinghong shared the suggestions of promoting the innovation of Ideological and political courses, adding elective practical courses and cultural and sports courses in a multi pronged way; Comrade Gong Li proposed to strengthen the academic exchanges among departments and increase the holding of academic activities.
Suggestion 4: life service. Gong Li put forward practical suggestions from three groups to open more supermarkets and fruit shops and improve the quality of catering in canteen 10, and other group representatives agreed.
Chen Jiaqi, Secretary of the Party branch, said that the Party branch would systematically sort out and report everyone's opinions level by level, so as to make constructive opinions play a role.
3. Learning party class together and practicing mission -- cloud party class

Then, Wang Xiaonan taught the party lesson with the theme of "how should young Party members grow up and serve the country and society".
