Recently, the general office of the China Association for science and technology announced the evaluation results of the national innovation demonstration base for mass entrepreneurship in 2019. Our university and Nanjing University ranked sixth in the University demonstration base in China. Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Harbin University of technology, Huazhong University of science and technology and Zhejiang university rank in the top five.
From 2016 to 2017, the State Council identified 120 innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration bases, including 62 in regional category, 19 in universities, 11 in scientific research institutes and 28 in enterprise category, among which our university is listed.
From May to August 2019, according to the task requirements of the opinions of the State Council on promoting the high-quality development of innovation and entrepreneurship and creating the upgraded version of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation", the national development and Reform Commission and the China Association for science and technology will take the lead, jointly with the Ministry of education, the Ministry of industry and information technology, the state owned assets supervision and Administration Commission, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other departments, to evaluate 120 mass entrepreneurship innovation demonstration bases nationwide.
On July 18, 2019, our university accepted the on-the-spot investigation and evaluation by the evaluation expert group of the national innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration base. The expert group fully affirmed the school's innovation and entrepreneurship education, transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration base: it embodies accuracy, accuracy and delicacy in the aspects of innovation and entrepreneurship education organization, transformation of achievements, humanized training, standardized service, etc., creates a sentimental model and humanized ecology of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and forms the transformation of teachers and students' achievements and national needs We should strive for a close integration pattern, and implement the three key tasks proposed by the central government, namely, prevention and resolution of major risks, targeted poverty alleviation, and pollution prevention and control, in the work of mass entrepreneurship and innovation, demonstrating the spirit of responsibility and sense of responsibility. The experience of Central South University not only has an important promotion value to universities, but also to the national regional, enterprise and other types of innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration bases, playing a radiation leading role.
This assessment is based on the first and second level indicators of the document "opinions of the general office of the State Council on the implementation of the construction of mass entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration base", and the indicators are designed according to the classification of regional, University, Institute and enterprise demonstration base, and the comprehensive assessment and scoring are carried out according to the self-assessment report and other materials of the demonstration base, field investigation and evaluation. At the same time, the national development and Reform Commission and the China Association for science and technology jointly issued the assessment report on the construction and progress of the 2019 innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration base, summarizing and refining the experience highlights of the top ranked and significantly improved demonstration bases. Our school's three experiences of "combining entrepreneurship and innovation with professional education and ideological and political education, realizing mutual promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation with teaching and scientific research", "implementing the reform of" releasing management and service "of scientific research funds, formulating a series of normative documents" and "jointly establishing a school's professional intellectual property service institution with market-oriented operation" were included in the evaluation report.
It is reported that in 2020, the national development and Reform Commission and the China Association for science and technology will continue to organize and carry out assessment work in accordance with the requirements of the State Council's opinions on promoting the high-quality development of innovation and entrepreneurship and creating the upgraded version of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation".
