Muslim issues in contemporary Britain

Abstract: European Muslims have always been a striking problem in European society. How to integrate a large number of Muslims into their countries has always been a problem faced by European governments. As a multicultural Britain, the relative harmony between Muslims and local society is more prominent in Western Europe. But at the same time, the differences between Muslim communities and the mainstream values of British society, as well as a series of international crises, often cause conflicts between Muslims and British society. The reason is actually the dilemma caused by the inherent contradiction of the multicultural model, and the result of the contradiction between national identity and ethnic identity.
