Recently, the 16th Wang Daheng optical award review meeting in 2019 was successfully held in the form of online video. Song Wange, a doctoral student recommended by Nanjing University, won the "Wang Daheng optical award student optical Award".
Song Wange entered the material physics major of our institute in 2012, and in 2016, he was a doctoral student majoring in optical engineering. Under the guidance of Professor Li Tao, he was mainly engaged in the research of micro nano photon integration and topology photonics. In 2019, he published two papers as the first author (Phys. Rev. Lett., laser photo. Rev.), and was selected as "editor's recommendation article" and current inside cover article. The second author published a light SCI. Appl. Among them, PRL is in the top 10% of all research results tracked by altmetric paper evaluation system, and is recommended to the top 10 candidates for optical progress in 2019 in China. At present, 8 reports have been made at international conferences. He has won national scholarship, outstanding postgraduate talent award of Collaborative Innovation Center, scholarship of international academic conference, Suzhou Yucai scholarship, top 20 wall newspaper award of nature conference and other honors.
It is reported that in 2019, the 16th Wang Daheng optical award selected two winners of young and middle-aged science and technology personnel optical award, and 30 winners of college students optical award. Wang Daheng optical award was established in 1996. It was funded by Academician Wang Daheng, founder of modern optics in China and the first director of Changchun Institute of Optics and mechanics. It aims to promote the development of Optical Science and technology in China, and encourage young and middle-aged scientific and technological workers and college students in the field of Optics and optical engineering to forge ahead and innovate. Wang Daheng's optical award has been established for 24 years. Since 1996, it has been selected for 16 times. 25 young and middle-aged science and technology personnel optical award winners and 261 students optical award winners have been selected successively. Many of the winners have become scientists with outstanding achievements and made outstanding contributions. Many of them are in charge of science and technology departments, scientific research institutions, state key laboratories, etc. In this year's selection, 30 winners of the student optics award were selected from Beijing University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Nanjing University, Harbin University of technology, Shandong University and other famous domestic universities.
