This online technology roadshow (bio medicine and big health topic) was strongly supported by Suzhou Industrial Park, focusing on the in-depth promotion and docking of science and technology enterprises in the park, and fully releasing the innovation vitality of these new technologies, so as to help the development of Suzhou bio medicine industry.
It is reported that as one of the three emerging industries in Suzhou Industrial Park, the biomedical industry has maintained a growth rate of more than 20% for many consecutive years, with an output value of 90 billion yuan in 2019, gathering more than 1400 high-quality enterprises represented by Cinda bio. The park has issued the implementation measures of Suzhou Industrial Park on further promoting the development of biomedical industry, which provides up to 10 million yuan of support funds to eligible enterprises. 1. Project 1: Peking University -- koushanone compound with anti hepatitis B virus and liver protection for hepatitis B treatment
Project Description: this project includes two parts. One is to extract and separate the koushankone compounds as the representative of Swertia mussotii to achieve antiviral and hepatoprotective effects by inhibiting the expression of HBsAg and HBeAg. 2. Project 2: Shanghai Jiaotong University: new drug delivery technology based on biomacromolecule
Project introduction: this project has effectively solved the problem of long-acting slow release by using the unique aqueous phase emulsion technology invented by ourselves. It has achieved satisfactory results in the development of long-acting dosage forms such as erythropoietin, auxin, interferon and other protein drugs, and can be used for almost all protein drugs requiring sustained release.
3. Project 3: Sun Yat sen University: clinical study on the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis by allogeneic normal bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells infusion
Project introduction: through the isolation, culture and expansion of normal volunteers' bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), we found that the normal MSCs can significantly reduce the level of inflammation in patients with ankylosing spondylitis (as), in which 21.1% of patients with inflammatory back pain and other symptoms were completely relieved, 52.6% of patients with clinical symptoms were significantly improved, the project was complete The body effective rate was 73.7%. Except for 6.9% patients with fever, no other obvious adverse events and side effects were found. It is proved that MSCs infusion is safe and effective in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis.
4. Project 4: Nankai University - doxycycline hydrochloride anti-tumor drug development
Project introduction: in this project, we found that doxycycline hydrochloride can interact with matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and focal adhesion kinase (FAK), which are related to cell migration and movement. By inhibiting tumor cell adhesion and inducing tumor cell apoptosis, and then inhibiting tumor cell's supporting growth, invasion and blood metastasis, it can play a comprehensive anti-tumor effect.
5. Project 5: Shanghai Institute of medicine, Chinese Academy of Sciences: a new drug against myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury
Project Description: the project has two authorized patents. The completed pre clinical research results show that it can significantly reduce the myocardial infarction area, improve the cardiac systolic and diastolic function and the symptoms of myocardial hemorrhage, significantly reduce the number of myocardial cell apoptosis and necrosis, and has excellent curative effect. The drug is used in the rescue treatment of myocardial cells in the acute stage of myocardial infarction, and the manufacturer is invited to cooperate in the development.
6. Item 6: Institute of physical and chemical technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences - minimally invasive tumor whole body hyperthermia equipment
