Professor Du Gonghuan is a doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University. He graduated from the Department of physics of Nanjing University in 1957 and has been teaching in Nanjing University until now. In 1993, he obtained the qualification of doctoral supervisor of the academic degree committee of the State Council. He has visited the University of Tennessee, the University of Vermont and the National Center for physical acoustics (NCPA) for many times. More than 100 papers have been published, of which more than 30 are included in SCI. He is the author of the book acoustic foundation, 460000 words, which was republished in 2012 (the Third Edition).
