Mr. Yan shared the current situation of blockchain talent cultivation and curriculum exploration from five aspects: the current situation of blockchain talent cultivation, the construction of blockchain curriculum system, case teaching and practice teaching, the discussion of new discipline curriculum construction system, and the exploration and practice of Nanjing University blockchain talent cultivation.
Blockchain technology is a multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary technology. The talents who design the underlying system architecture of blockchain need to master a number of interdisciplinary professional skills, and deeply understand the underlying design principles, as well as the experience of system architecture design, but also understand the specific business logic of the application scenario, which can be described as "one will be hard to find". At present, the curriculum and social professional training curriculum system in Colleges and universities is relatively backward. The content of the curriculum tends to knowledge popularization and industrial application guidance, and there is no professional and extensible blockchain professional curriculum.
Blockchain curriculum system construction
Based on the principles of ensuring the advanced content, responding to the market demand, optimizing the discipline system, defining the training mode, cultivating professional talents and encouraging practical innovation, Nanjing University proposes the modular curriculum setting mode of "general basis + professional characteristics" of blockchain. On the basis of the original professional curriculum system, the knowledge system is reconstructed, and the blockchain curriculum module is added to form a new curriculum system. The blockchain course module includes two parts: the general basic course about the basic knowledge of blockchain and the specialized blockchain characteristic course.
General basic courses of blockchain basic knowledge
The course introduces the birth and technological evolution of blockchain from bitcoin; introduces the technical architecture, operation process, type and characteristics of blockchain; focuses on cryptography, consensus mechanism, smart contract and other technologies; introduces mainstream blockchain platforms such as bitcoin, Ethereum and fabric in the form of cases; introduces application scenarios and landing applications of blockchain.

Mr. Yan pointed out that after the establishment of the curriculum system planning, some problems may still be encountered in the practice of curriculum opening, such as the shortage of teachers, the difficulty of obtaining teaching materials, etc., which requires the construction of teaching staff, the construction of experimental environment, the selection of reference materials and other safeguard measures.
Case teaching and Practice Teaching
In the teaching of blockchain course, application scenarios and other cases can help students better understand and use what they have learned, and cultivate learning initiative and application innovation ability. On the spot, Mr. Yan took blockchain + commodity traceability system, blockchain e-invoice, blockchain + copyright solution as examples, and described the criteria for selecting teaching cases. On how to carry out case teaching of blockchain course, he thinks that from the perspective of methodology, it can be divided into building case base, multi-party comment improvement, establishing management assessment system, etc.
Mr. Yan pointed out that the blockchain course involves a wide range of disciplines and has strong applicability, requiring students to have good practical ability. The practical teaching in blockchain course is mainly divided into programming practice oriented to technology development course and project practice oriented to application innovation. The programming practice is from knowledge point oriented to problem-based, to cultivate students' coding ability and problem-solving ability; the project practice focuses on topic selection and explores the development and application of blockchain in specific fields. Different professional practice requires different, programming practice and project practice can be combined.
As a representative emerging discipline in the Internet field, blockchain meets many common problems in the development of emerging disciplines in the course offering, and its course system construction method has certain reference value for other emerging disciplines.
