LG has applied to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for two new wireless earplug patents
The two patents were discovered by 91mobiles. One has a pod like design similar to the galaxy pads and is placed inside the ear, but the other has a dry design, just like apple airpods and the recent realm pads air. The patent was filed in July 2018 and published on February 18. Both surfaces seem to have a touch sensor that can be used to change tracks, adjust volume, answer calls, and so on.

The patent image of the dry wireless headset shows the portable bag, similar to the apple airpods charging bag. The longer of the two TWS earplugs shows an angled design, but no earplugs. Smaller earplugs have a pod shaped design with silicone tips to provide better sealing. Unfortunately, little is known about LG's real wireless earplugs. Given that most brands are entering the earplug market, it's no surprise that LG also wants to take some action.
As early as October 2019, LG launched its first real wireless earplug, called LG tone + free. TWS earplug has meridian audio tuning function and noise reduction microphone, and its design is similar to Sony wf-1000xm3. LG tone + free is famous for providing built-in UV sterilized earplugs. LG TWS earplugs are introduced in the US and have never been sold in India.
