According to the specific requirements of relevant documents such as the regulations of the Ministry of education on the administration of national postgraduate enrollment in 2020 (Teaching letter [2019] No.6), the notice of the general office of the Ministry of education on doing well in the national postgraduate retest in 2020 (Teaching Department [2020] No After deliberation and approval by the leading group, the following suggestions are put forward for the admission of master students in 2020:
1、 Retest score line
In 2020, the enrollment of master's students will continue to adhere to the principle of enrollment on demand, comprehensive measurement of morality, intelligence, physical education, labor, and beauty, quality assurance, and excellent enrollment, continue to determine the basic retest score line of our school according to the discipline categories and professional degree categories, and list the retest score line of disciplines and projects in the special enrollment plan of the Ministry of education.
Under the condition that each college (Department, Institute) has reached the basic score line of the retest of our university and has sufficient students, it can accurately define the retest score line of each specialty according to the discipline, specialty characteristics, students, enrollment plan, retest assessment work needs, etc. Each institute (Department, Institute) is requested to submit the score line of the unit's retest to the graduate school within the specified time, which will be published after being reviewed and approved by the graduate school.
2、 Candidates for retest
Each college (Department, Institute) shall determine the retest list from high score to low score among the candidates who meet the basic retest score line of our school (or the unit's retest score line), and carry out the difference retest. The difference proportion is generally no less than 1.2:1.
Each college (Department, Institute) shall consider the number of candidates, enrollment plan and enrollment scale as a whole when determining the retest list. The enrollment plan and enrollment scale are determined according to the enrollment regulations and catalogue in 2020, the development needs and training conditions of each college (Department, Institute), the enrollment plan and enrollment scale issued by the state, the source structure, training quality and employment rate of recent two years, etc. the enrollment plan shall include candidates recommended for exemption, unified examination, joint examination, high-level backbone talents plan of ethnic minorities, and retirees Service college student soldier plans examinee and so on.
3、 Form of retest
According to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control and the actual situation of the University, the remote network retest will be adopted for the postgraduate retest in 2020.
4、 Retest assessment
The retest is an important link to further investigate whether candidates meet the requirements of master's training. This link is mainly to strengthen the examination of candidates' Ideological and political quality, moral character, knowledge level, innovation ability, professional quality, cooperation spirit and comprehensive quality. The contents of Ideological and political quality and moral assessment shall include the candidates' political attitude, ideological performance, moral quality, discipline and law-abiding, honesty and trustworthiness, etc. All colleges (departments and institutes) must strictly follow the principle of seeking truth from facts and do a good job in the assessment work. Those who fail in the ideological and moral assessment will not be admitted. The graduate admission leading group of each institute (Department, Institute) considers it necessary to retest the candidates, which shall be reported to the graduate school for the record.
The graduate enrollment leading group of each institute (Department, Institute) is fully responsible for the safety, fairness, science and retest results of the retest process, and designates special personnel to participate in the whole retest process and supervise the retest process. During the retest, the school will send a special person to patrol the retest site.
For the organization, specific requirements, scoring methods and other issues of the re examination, please refer to the re examination methods for postgraduate students enrolled for master's degree in Nanjing University in 2020 (Annex). Each institute (Department, Institute) shall formulate detailed rules for the implementation of reexamination admission in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of education and the school, which shall be submitted to the graduate school for filing after being reviewed and approved by the graduate enrollment leading group, and shall be announced to the society about one week before the reexamination time and strictly implemented.
5、 Timing
1. Determine the retest list. All institutes (departments and institutes) are requested to submit the list of the proposed retest to the graduate school for approval within the specified time. Without the consent of the graduate school, all candidates are not allowed to participate in the retest.
After the reexamination list of each institute (Department, Institute) is determined, the reexamination notice (indicating the reexamination time, number of people, subjects, procedures, sorting methods and the method of adding the same academic strength to the reexamination) and the reexamination list (including the reexamination specialty, name, candidate number, initial examination result and other information) shall be reported to the Enrollment Office of Graduate School for filing as soon as possible, and then they shall be posted on the website of the Institute (Department, Institute) for external use Announce and inform candidates for the second round examination. The work of notifying candidates shall be completed before the retest time of each department.
2. Retest time. In principle, our school will carry out the retest work from May 8 to 15. Each institute (Department, Institute) will determine the specific retest time within this period and report it to graduate school for filing.
6、 School security mechanism
1. Each hospital (Department, Institute) shall do a good job of health and epidemic prevention at the interview site according to the epidemic prevention requirements of the state, the Ministry of education, Jiangsu Province, Nanjing city and Nanjing University, and carry out relevant work under the guarantee and guidance of the hospital and other departments in school.
2. Each institute (Department, Institute) shall do a good job in personnel screening, site arrangement, etc. of the interview team in organizing the retest. When arranging the retest of each specialty, follow the principle of wrong time, wrong peak, time sharing and batch, and arrange the remote retest of each specialty in order. The staff and experts participating in the re examination shall meet the requirements for returning to school.
3. The retest team is conducted in the designated place of each college (Department, Institute), and carries out remote retest for candidates through the network. The school information construction service management office, education technology center and other departments provide support for the network and equipment to ensure the smooth progress of the retest.
4. All hospitals (departments and institutes) shall report to the public health leading group of their units in a timely manner in case of epidemic prevention and control during the second round admission.
7、 Admission work
1. Announcement of proposed admission. The proposed admission list of each institute (Department, Institute) shall be reviewed by the leader of graduate admission leading group of the Institute (Department, Institute) or the Dean (department head, Institute head) in charge of graduate work, and submitted to graduate school after signature and official seal. After the examination of graduate school, each school (Department, Institute) publicizes on the Internet. After the enrollment of the whole university, the graduate school will publicize the list of candidates for this year.
2. Our school does not accept the application for breaking the rules and adjustment. Candidates who meet the basic requirements of the national minimum retest (according to the subject category of the application volunteer) and have not been admitted by our university may contact and transfer to other recruitment units by themselves.
3. Filing review. Candidates who plan to enroll as non directional master students shall transfer personnel files to their units for review, and send special personnel to their units for information if necessary. We should strengthen the examination of examinee's ideological and political character and realistic performance, and take having correct political direction as an important standard of selecting talents. We should pay attention to the work attitude and performance of the on-the-job personnel, and pay attention to the performance of the fresh graduates at school and their usual academic performance.
4. Both the full-time and part-time students in our university need to sign a directional training agreement before admission. After the list of candidates for admission is determined, each institute (Department, Institute) shall timely cooperate with the graduate school to sign relevant agreements and improve the admission procedures.
5. Issue a letter of acceptance. The admission list shall be approved by the Ministry of education and the notice shall be issued after all necessary formalities are completed. No admission notice shall be issued for those with incomplete formalities.
6. At that time, graduates and self-study examination and online education can graduate undergraduate candidates. Those who fail to obtain the national recognized undergraduate diploma at the time of enrollment will be disqualified.
8、 Others
1. Retention of admission. In principle, candidates who meet the admission requirements of our university will not agree to retain their admission qualifications except those who are recommended to be exempt from the examination in the graduate student support group plan and the ideological and political preparatory plan. For those who agree to retain the enrollment qualification, they can work for 1-2 years first, and then come back to study for master's degree. This list shall be reported together with the list of master's degree candidates to be enrolled, and shall be included in the enrollment plan and enrollment scale of this year.
2. Dormitory arrangement. The Asset Management Office of the school accepts the accommodation application submitted by the full-time students from outside the urban area of Nanjing within the basic years of study, and arranges and manages it. Accommodation fee is required.
3. For the tuition standard of part-time master's degree and relevant policies after enrollment, please refer to the enrollment regulations of master's degree in 2020 of Nanjing University.
All colleges (departments and institutes) should strengthen the leadership of the admission of master's degree students, conscientiously implement the regulations on the admission of master's degree students, resolutely resist the unfair practices such as favoritism and malpractice, and investigate the responsibility of those who violate the admission regulations, commit fraud and serious dereliction of duty, and make serious treatment according to different situations.
