Recently, the 2020 provincial new think tank construction promotion meeting and the provincial new think tank Council plenary meeting were held in Nanjing. The meeting reported the three-year node comprehensive assessment of key high-end think tanks and provincial key cultivation think tanks in Jiangsu Province. Nanjing University Yangtze River Industrial Economics Research Institute ranked first in the three-year comprehensive assessment of key high-end think tanks in Jiangsu Province, while Nantong University Jiangsu Yangtze River Economic Belt Research Institute and Jiangsu Jiangsu Jiangsu Jiangsu Science and Technology Innovation Strategy Research Institute successfully promoted the provincial key cultivation think tanks to the ranks of key high-end think tanks.
In 2019, the Yangtze River Industrial Economics Research Institute of Nanjing University made significant achievements in infrastructure construction, decision-making consultation, scientific research and other aspects: innovation breakthroughs in platform building and team building, establishment of contact mechanism and cooperation relationship with multiple government departments, media units, enterprises and peers, and further improvement of the research team of "small core + large periphery"; Yangtze River Industrial and economic decision-making consultation The report and the special subject report on the Yangtze River industry and economy have submitted nearly 100 articles, obtained 18 affirmative instructions at the national and provincial levels, undertook 39 special subject research projects of national ministries and local departments, and many achievements have been transformed into practical applications.
Among the two newly promoted research institutes, Jiangsu Yangtze River Economic Belt Research Institute of Nantong University not only ranks first in the three-year comprehensive evaluation of the cultivation of think tanks, but also ranks as excellent in the annual comprehensive evaluation of the cultivation of think tanks in Jiangsu Province for three consecutive years; Jiangsu Innovation Strategy Research Institute has reported 62 countermeasures and suggestions in the construction of think tanks in the past three years, winning the National Award , 33 affirmative instructions from provincial and ministerial leaders, successively undertaking 8 national level projects, 27 provincial and ministerial level projects, completing 14 national and provincial evaluation work, and submitting nearly 1 million words of research and evaluation report.
