Abstract of the book:
In the macro cultural background of Han Dynasty, the author takes Chu state in the Western Han Dynasty and Pengcheng state in the Eastern Han Dynasty (their main body is equivalent to Xuzhou and its surrounding areas in Jiangsu Province today). For the sake of discussion, this book is called the Chu (Pengcheng) state in Han Dynasty Through the combination of archaeological materials, classical literature and modern research results, this paper studies the tomb architecture of Chu state in Han Dynasty. This work consists of 10 chapters, which are divided into two parts (Chapter 1-6, chapter 7-10). The first chapter is the social background and historical status of the development of tomb architecture in the Chu (Pengcheng) state of Han Dynasty. This paper reviews the social politics, economy and culture of the Han Dynasty in China as a whole, focusing on people's living customs, social thoughts, scientific and technological development level at that time, as well as the development status of tomb buildings affected by them, and puts forward the meaning of studying the tomb buildings of Chu (Pengcheng) in the Han Dynasty. The second chapter is about the mausoleum building of the king and Marquis of Chu (Pengcheng) in Han Dynasty. According to the different development periods of the mausoleum of the king and Marquis of Chu (Pengcheng) in the Han Dynasty, this book divides it into five development stages, studies the characteristics of each stage and the historical process of their occurrence, development and evolution. Liu Jiaoling, the king of Chu and Yuan Dynasties in the early Western Han Dynasty, is the earliest mausoleum that has been found in Archaeology in China. This paper studies the historical origin of this burial system. Chapter eight "architectural" and "Ming" architecture. In view of the fact that there are a large number of "wooden roof" or "stone" houses in the tombs of Han Dynasty, and that the burials are used to simulate the image of real buildings, this paper puts forward the concepts of "Ming style" architecture and "architectural" Ming ware, analyzes their contents, types, forms and characteristics, and studies their emergence period, ideological origin and evolution. Chapter nine is about the methodology of "Han Dynasty architectural stone (brick)". This book tentatively named the stone (brick) of the Han Dynasty with the building image as "the stone (brick) of the Han Dynasty architecture". This book puts forward the methodology of reading them, and makes a systematic analysis and demonstration by listing various examples in connection with ancient books, archaeological discoveries and modern documents. The tenth chapter is about the funeral thought of the architecture of the Han Dynasty. This book analyzes the ancient tombs thought, the development and evolution process of tombs architecture.
